In many cases, the psychedelic experience didn't create the problem, it revealed underlying patterns already present or disrupted an already vulnerable system. This is why many people don't fit neatly into either conventional medical or psychedelic integration models.
Rather than focusing solely on the experience itself, I evaluate the whole picture: your health history, trauma history, constitutional tendencies, nervous system regulation, inflammatory patterns and the sequence of events before and after the experience.
A structured approach can help organize what may otherwise feel like a confusing collection of symptoms and experiences, bring greater clarity to what is primary, what was triggered, and what supports the return to stability.
What may come up after ayahuasca or other entheogens....
Sleep difficulties, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, fatigue, problems with concentration, change of spacial awareness, new phobias, changes in relationships or your sense of self may be part of what brings you here. The physical, emotional and life concerns listed in my areas of support can help you put words to what you are experiencing.
Not every concern on that page is a psychedelic after-effect. Timing alone does not establish that the entheogen is the cause for this reason the case assessment is a back to basics grounded way to understand what is happening.
Recommended level of support
Because these cases often evolve, at the beginning I generally recommend the Initial Consultation & One-Month Immersion. After that, for more complex or long-standing cases, the Three-Month Case Immersion provides the opportunity to observe patterns over time, refine recommendations, and support a more gradual process of stabilization.
This is not emergency or crisis psychiatric care. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services.

Client feedback
In their own words
“The experience was powerful, but my body and emotions didn't settle afterward.”
After a strong psychedelic experience, I expected to feel more clear and aligned. In ways I did, but there was also a lingering instability that didn't go away. It felt like my system had split open, but never really came back into place. My sleep became lighter and more inconsistent I would have waves of intensity come up without any clear reason. At times I was overstimulated, and at others completely drained. It was impossible to find a steady rhythm again.
Looking back, the one-month immersion helped me put my puzzle pieces back together I no longer feel like such a mess, I am back to being me.
